Can I do HIIT cardio / an exercise class / swim / etc.?
Definitely! These are all great options for active rest days or post-workout. Exercise classes, swimming, hiking, biking, and other activities like this are excellent choices and fit the low-moderate intensity exercise we recommend. While HIIT does have the potential to compromise your recovery, if you'd like to include this in your training week, we suggest you schedule this on a non-weightlifting day.
